Radiohead Live at the BBC mp3s
So Radiohead took over the BBC today. Twice. In front of about 300 people the band played their first show(s) since the “secret” gig at 93 Feet East back in January. The matinée performance featured two takes on Optimistic (not played since 2001 I believe [though I heard it soundchecked in Salt Lake City in 2003]) while the evening performance featured the seldom performed The Tourist. Apparently only half of the matinee performance was aired so that’s why it seems incomplete below. It will apparently be aired in full in a couple weeks. The evening performance is also missing Faust Arp…when it turns up I will post it.

Twas lovely to listen to. I wish I were seeing them this year.Looking forward to hearing the other songs though.

Sounds like Thom was having a rough time but still pulls it off.
Must say their new sound doesn’t do the old fav’s justice. Some heavy compression going on too.
But all in all is a good listen.
