Feist @ 2008 Laneway Festival, Sydney

After her triumphant show on Friday, Feist, like her Broken Social Scene brothers, had a lot to live up to. Unfortunately we moved out of the crowd a bit and ended up surrounded by drunk talkers which lessened my enjoyment of the set. That said I was still taken with every note.
While Young Girl, My Moon My Man, and Mushaboom were all fantastic again, it was Sealion that was the standout performance. Easily one of the highlights of the entire day, half of Stars and half of Broken Social Scene joined Feist on stage for a rambunctious, percussive performance that peaked with a little tease of the Constantines track Nighttime/Anytime. I actually think I screamed when she dropped that in there and I never do that. Check out the clip below (the Constantines snippet comes in just before the 2 minute mark).
Welcome to Arts & Crafts, Constantines.
