I wrote more at length about Night 1 here so I’ll keep this very brief.
1. Happy to see a show with Lotus Flower as the opener.
2. Airbag is always so great. Now, thanks to Clive, with sleigh bells all the way through.
3. Great to hear The Daily Mail again after not hearing it Night 1.
4. How To Disappear Completely…not played a lot this year but it’s always so majestic.
5. The National Anthem !!!!
6. LOVED the first encore. Especially Kid A. Hadn’t heard it yet this year and I really love the arrangement they’re doing of it this tour.
7. Identikit, IMBW, and Street Spirit. Seriously stellar Encore 1.
8. True Love Waits was really more than an intro to EIIRP. Two verses, two choruses.
9. An Idioteque fail to end the night. As I said on At Ease, kind of a funny way to end the night.
Who knows when I’ll see the band next. Thanks for three great shows in 2012, guys.
